Valiant Idaho, LLC v. Pend Oreille Bonner Development, LLC.
Rick Stacey, Jeff Sykes and Chad Nicholson diligently represented the construction lender for The Idaho Club development in Sandpoint, Idaho. Our team’s knowledge of the contractor registration act and mechanic’s liens laws helped the client establish the priority of its mortgages on summary judgment against competing mechanics’ lien holders with liens alleged to total more than $30 million. Our client was ultimately awarded damages in the amount of $21,070,526.88 after a lengthy and contentious battle culminating in an intense court trial against the subordinate mortgage holders.
